Ceramic Handbuilding Classes for Kids at Le Studio Art Space

Get your kids sinking their hands into some soft clay and making unique, quirky ceramic art with Paola Aguanta. Sign them up for our six-week course and we will teach your kid to make their own pieces to treasure. Suitable for kids from 8 to 14 years old and runs every Thursday from 4 to 5.30pm. Starts 12th May 2022. This is a beginner-friendly class, but also great for kids who have dabbled in clay before. In this course, kids will learn the basic skills to hand build clay pieces (anything from dragons and houses to cute pots). They’ll get the chance to let their creativity flow and learn how to shape clay by pinching, coiling or rolling slabs. Kids will also learn about how to glaze their masterpiece to prepare it for firing. Price is $290, and includes clay, tools, firing and all masterpieces made.
